Ragetti is part of Barbossa's crew, cursed by the Aztec gold. He is almost always seen alongside pirate chum, He is more silly than Pintel is, and occasionally gets them into trouble.
Ragetti suffers the loss of his eye, which is replaced by a wooden eye. He hopes one day to be able to afford a glass eye. Like Pintel, Ragetti enjoys violence and comitting violence against others. Although more often than not, he will subject to name calling rather than spilling blood.
Ragetti Highlights
Pintel: We know you’re here, Poppet.Ragetti: Poppet.
Pintel: Come out and we promise we won’t hurt you. We will find you, Poppet. You’ve got something of ours and it calls to us. The gold calls to us.
Ragetti: Gold calls...
Pintel: (finds Elizabeth) ‘Ello, Poppet.
Elizabeth: Parley. I invoke the right of parley. According to the code of the brethren, set down by the pirates Morgan and Bartholomew, you have to take me to your Captain.
Pintel: I know the code.
Elizabeth: If an adversary demands parley you can do them no harm until the parley is complete.
Ragetti: To blazes with the code!
Pintel: She wants to be taken to the Captain. And she’ll go without a fuss. We must honor the code.
Pintel: Ten years of hoarding swag.
Ragetti: And now we’re finally getting to spend it.
Pintel: Once we’re quit of the curse we’ll be rich men. And you can buy an eye that actually fits and is made of glass.
Ragetti: This one does splinter something terrible.
Pintel: Stop rubbing it!
Bo’sun: You two. You brought us the wrong person!
Pintel: No! She had the medallion, she’s the proper age.
Ragetti: She said her name was Turner, you heard her! Stupid blighter.
Ragetti: Parley?
Jack: Parley! That’s the one. Parley! Parley!
Pintel: Parley? Damn to the depths whatever mutiny thought up parley.
Will: My name is Will Turner . My father was Bootstrap Bill Turner. His blood runs in my veins.
Ragetti: He’s a spitting image of ol’ Bootstrap Bill come back to haunt us!
Will: You knew William Turner?
Pintel: Ol’ Bootstrap Bill... we knew him. Never sat well with Bootstrap what we did to Jack Sparrow, the mutiny and all. He said it wasn’t right with the code, that’s why he sent off a piece of the treasure to you as it were. He said we deserved to be cursed... and remain cursed.
Ragetti: Stupid blighter.
Gibbs: Good man.
Pintel: But as you can imagine that didn’t sit too well with the Captain.
Ragetti: That didn’t sit too well with the Captain, at all. Tell him what Barbossa did.
Pintel: I’m telling the story! So, what the Captain did, he strapped a cannon to Bootstraps’ bootstraps.
Ragetti: Bootstraps’ bootstraps...
Pintel: The last we saw of ol’ Bill Turner , he was sinking to the crushing black oblivion of Davy Jones’ Locker. ‘Course it was only after that we learned we needed his blood to lift the curse.
Ragetti: That’s what you call ironic.
Ragetti: This is just like what the Greeks done at Troy... ‘Cept they was in a horse instead of dresses. Wooden horse.
Ragetti: (waves at soilders) Oooh!
Pintel: Stop that! I already feel like a fool.
Ragetti: You look nice, though.
Ragetti: Is it supposed to be doing that?
Pintel: They’re stealing our ship!
Ragetti: Bloody pirates!
